Small groups (cell groups). We really want to share our lives, and so as well as meeting up on Sundays we also have small groups that meet once every two weeks, in weeks when there is no general prayer evening. The small groups meet in people's homes, so that we can get to know each other better and become real friends. We can discuss what it means to live life with God, share worries and problems and pray for each other. And because this brings us closer together, it's easier for us to be there for each other when we need practical help. The small groups are also a good place to bring visitors, who might feel that coming straight to a Sunday church service is too big a step. If you are a visitor to the Schuilplaats, don't hesitate to get in touch with the contact person for the small group you're interested in (see below). The groups are free to determine the format and content of the evenings themselves: place, time, approach and topics are all chosen by the group. Some small groups share a meal together, others start after dinner time. There are plenty of possibilities: any church member can come up with an idea for their own small group. At the moment the following groups exist:
